Agency Card – Assisted living establishments/nursing homes with residents: Two employees are required to sign for an Agency card. Agency cards expire in one year without direct access to other Nassau libraries.
Au Pairs – An official Au Pair letter is required. The card expires in one year without direct access to other Nassau libraries.
Delivery of books, movies, and magazines to your home/school.
You will receive an email with a delivery date. Delivery dates may be affected by weather or the unexpected.
A Librarian will email you when items are ready to pickup. Please pickup within 7 days or items will be checked in and will be removed from your account.
Non-residents who own property in the Glen Cove School District are eligible for a card which will need to be renewed annually. Please submit a valid ID and a copy of the tax bill for the property.
Teachers employed by the GCSD are eligible to receive a card (without direct access to other Nassau libraries) which will need to be renewed annually. A valid ID along with a letter from the school stating that they are currently employed is sufficient to establish eligibility.
Residents should apply in person at the library. Bring one form of identification. The following forms of identification are acceptable:
Children must have the signature of a parent or guardian, accepting responsibility for library materials.
Library cards are valid for three years and can be used in any library in Nassau County.
